Mandala Vinyasa

This intuitive, fluid practice where we encompass the elements is one of my favourite practices to really develop all sides of our multi-faceted beings.

1. EARTH MANDALA VINYASA

The Earth Mandala is a dynamic yet physically grounding practice, focusing on physical folds to activate the posterior chain (The back body) We are creating strong steady foundation in which to move and grow from.

2. WATER MANDALA VINYASA

The Water Mandala is a fluid and sensual practice, physically focusing on opening the hips and targeting the groin. Here, we hone into our creative centre, as as we move 360 degrees around the mat.

3. FIRE MANDALA VINYASA

A powerfully sweaty practice. The fire challenges us in many ways to stretch beyond the low vibration of the ego and to step into a place of intuitive power. Fire gives us a sense of direction and motivation to strive for what we truly want. This manifest in our practice with lots of juicy twists and tricky balances.

4. AIR MANDALA VINYASA

The intention of the air mandala is to flow with a sense of grace, presence and compassion for ourselves and others. The process of this vinyasa flow is to step out of the control the thinking body may have upon us and to delight in the freedom of movement and spirit. Physically speaking we are targeting the front body, the anterior chain with extensions and backbending work.
