FAVOURITE YOGA ASANA:
1. Any type of back bend - back bends are my happy place. I've been told I have a very open heart chakra and its manifested physically in my practice.
2. Mandukasana - Frog pose for getting deep in to the hip space and groin. A winner for when I need a serious emotional release.
3. Viparita Virabhadrasana - Reverse Warrior. The strength and grace of this pose, the balance between effort and ease is why I love it. There is a lot more to it than just throwing the body back and it opens me up in such a delicious way.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO RETREAT/ HOLIDAY:
Mama India gets me every time! <3 But generally speaking I am happy any where I can explore and experience something new.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM YOUR CLASSES?
My classes tend to vary weekly, but expect a strong, dynamic flow, that is light and playful at heart. I am a firm believer that we can all enjoy the benefits of this old tradition in a modern way, I will always offer plenty of variations to poses that allow you to take control of your practice.
